Tips for the Universal Orlando™ 2 Park Explorer Ticket¹
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter™ - Diagon Alley™ and Hogsmeade™ – we recommend you visit both lands early in the day to avoid the largest crowds.
Comfortable shoes. These are a must! You'll be doing a lot of walking around the theme parks, and you could be on your feet quite a bit more than you may anticipate. For this reason, we do not recommend wearing flip-flops or heeled shoes to the parks
Sunscreen. They don't call Florida the Sunshine State for nothing! It doesn't take long to get sunburned. Make sure to cover up!
Camera with batteries, plenty of film or extra memory cards. Expect to take lots of photographs during your visit.
Items you are allowed to bring into the park
- Bottled water
- Small snacks that do not require heating
- Any food required for medical purposes and medically–indicated nutritional supplements
- Any food required for special dietary needs
- Baby food/baby formula
- Soft-sided insulated bags no larger than 8.5" wide x 6" high x 6" deep

- Picnic lunches
- Food that requires heating or refrigeration
- Alcohol and glass containers
- Hard-sided coolers
- Soft-sided coolers larger than 8.5" wide x 6" high x 6" deep
- Coolers, suitcases, and bags with wheels

Q: Can I use my Universal Orlando™ 2 Park Explorer Ticket¹ to visit more than one Universal Park in a day?
A: You most certainly can; you could visit Universal Studios™ and Islands of Adventure on the same day - if you have the energy of course.
· The Universal Orlando™ 2-Park Explorer Ticket that has not been activated (used) can be upgraded to a 3-Park Explorer Ticket at the following locations within Universal Orlando Resort™
o Ticket Windows (Pass Sales) at the front gate of Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure
o Guest Services at the front gate of Universal Studios Florida or Islands of Adventure
o Guest Services located within Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure
o Any guest service location at a Universal Orlando on-site hotel
IMPORTANT NOTE: If a 2-Park Explorer Ticket has been activated (used) then the upgrade to a 3-Park Explorer Ticket can only take place at a guest service location and not at any of the ticket windows (pass sales).

¹The Universal Orlando™ 2 Park Explorer Ticket entitles one (1) guest admission to Universal Studios Florida™, Universal’s Islands of Adventure™ and select live entertainment venues of Universal CityWalk™ (“CityWalk”), on all days during a fourteen (14) consecutive calendar day period which includes the first day any portion of the ticket is used. To receive the full fourteen (14) consecutive calendar days of admission, the ticket must be used by the first use date printed on the ticket. The ticket will expire in full on the expiration date printed on ticket. Unused days shall be forfeited.
The above Admission Media is non-refundable, non-transferable, and must be used by the same person on all days. Valid only during normal operating hours. Parks, attractions, or entertainment may: close due to refurbishing, capacity, weather or special events; change operating hours; and otherwise change or be discontinued without notice and without liability to the owners of Universal Orlando Resort (“Universal”). The above Admission Media specifically excludes admission to separately ticketed events at any of the Universal theme parks or within any of the CityWalk™ venues. Some CityWalk™ venues require ages 21 or older for admission. Does not include admission to AMC® Universal Cineplex 20 with IMAX®, the Blue Man Group show or Hollywood Drive-In Golf™. Additional restrictions may apply and benefits are subject to change without notice. Unless otherwise stated, parking is not included and there are no discounts on food or merchandise.
